FOOTBALL AGENT JOHAN ERIKSSON JOINS SEG ADDING 35 PLAYERS AND COACHES
Swedish football agent Johan Eriksson joins SEG this week, bringing with him his existing roster of 35 international players and coaching staff including his father Sven-Göran Eriksson, former England, Manchester City and SS Lazio coach. His Norwegian colleague Kenth Haugeland, whom Johan has been working with for over a decade will also be joining SEG and will be heading up the Norwegian market.
Johan’s Eriksson Management agency is already firmly established across Norway, Sweden and Spain, operating on a global basis with players at clubs across the Nordics, England and Brazil currently. His entire roster will become part of SEG’s rapidly-growing list of clients. The list includes Norwegian international and Celtic’s defender, Kristoffer Ajer, who is already a client of SEG, and the move will help SEG to make in-roads into new territories across the Nordics. The acquisition of Eriksson’s agency is another mark of the strong growth that SEG is experiencing across all divisions.
“I’m delighted to be joining SEG at this inspiring time in their development”, Eriksson says. “I’m excited to provide my roster of clients with an even more powerful offering, and to work as part of an organisation with such big plans and goals. I believe we can do great things together and I’m looking forward to being part of this powerhouse."
“Johan has built a very impressive roster and reputation with his agency and we’re very pleased to bring him and his extensive client list into the SEG family”, says SEG ceo Kees Vos. “He brings a wealth of experience to the table, and his roster provides a major boost to our football division. We’re all very excited to start working with him and integrating his roster into our fast-growing organisation. For us, this is another important step towards becoming the best talent agency in the world."
SEG AND THE MEDIA NANNY JOIN FORCES

SEG (Sports Entertainment Group) and The Media Nanny are proud to announce that from tomorrow onwards, they will join forces and continue their business activities as one company. As a result of the merger, a new SEG division will come into being in addition to the existing branches Football, Cycling and Esports: SEG Artists. The Media Nanny will continue to operate as an international PR management agency, but will add sports athletes to its current client base, which consists mainly of international music artists.
In these challenging times, many collaborations and mergers are put on hold, but Kees Vos (SEG) and José Woldring (The Media Nanny) are optimistic and confident that the merger will bring many great opportunities for both parties.
“There are many reasons why I am excited about SEG’s collaboration with The Media Nanny, but it is mostly because of the entrepreneurial talent and spirit of José and her team”, says Kees Vos, CEO and founder of SEG. “The entertainment company José has built over the past decade fits perfectly into SEG’s growth strategy. The PR and marketing expertise of The Media Nanny team will add value to SEG’s array of services. I can’t wait for us to jointly continue creating new opportunities for all of our clients, both athletes and artists.”
SEG Artists will focus on artist management as well as bookings, providing PR and marketing services and creating brand partnerships. The new division within SEG will be set up and run by José Woldring, CEO and founder of The Media Nanny.
“About a year ago, the idea of further growing the company started playing in my head and it has been on my mind ever since. From the initial conversations I had with Kees and the others at SEG, I knew: this is going to work. SEG is working with an experienced team of agents and staff, with extraordinary expertise on every level. Their unique way of managing talents appeals to me greatly. When it comes to talent management, we share the same vision. From the start I felt such a positive energy flowing between Kees and myself, which is important for me to make this collaboration succeed. I’m really looking forward to the next chapter in my career and the new challenges it will bring”, says José Woldring.
Coincidentally, both SEG and The Media Nanny celebrate their anniversaries in 2020 (SEG 20 years, The Media Nanny 10 years). All festivities have been temporarily suspended due to the Coronavirus.
SEG is an innovative, transparent talent management company that represents hundreds of talented clients worldwide, such as footballers, trainers, cyclists and esporters. Football players Memphis Depay, Kasper Dolberg and Santiago Arias, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag, riders Dylan Groenewegen and Daniel Martin, esporters SeoMinSoo and neptuNo and ex-football player and TV-pundit Robin van Persie are just a few of the names who are professionally serviced by a team of 150 dedicated agents, operating from 25 countries.
