SEG Esports adds two experienced agents

SEG Esports is delighted to welcome two young but already experienced agents to its agent roster: Hennes Heijmans (23) and Kaan Kılıç (21). Hennes and Kaan bring in their entire client portfolios, among whom are Hearthstone content creator Thijs Molendijk and over twenty competitive League of Legends players and coaches, including Ömer ‘Basei’ Onay.

Hennes has previously worked as a manager at several esports organisations, including G2, Ninjas In Pyjamas and Tundra. In his new role at SEG, he will focus on managing the careers of European content creators and working with SEG’s competitive gamers on building their personal brand, content creation activities and commercial opportunities.

Kaan is the founder of Turkey’s biggest esports agency and will continue to manage and expand his portfolio of professional League of Legends players and coaches in the EMEA region. He will focus on creating international opportunities for both seasoned veterans and emerging talents, utilising SEG's global network and resources.

With these additions, SEG’s global agent network in esports grows to 12 individual agents and over 75 clients across three competitive game titles: League of Legends, Valorant and Counter-Strike 2. This step also marks SEG’s entry into the management of content creators.

SEG Esports has been active in competitive gaming for over five years and is now a leading talent agency in esports, representing some of the top pro players and coaches, including 2022 Esports Player of the Year Jaccob ‘yay’ Whiteaker, 2022 VCT Champion Gustavo 'Sacy' Rossi and Peter Dun, LEC Head Coach at Heretics.

SEG Division Director Esports Rowan Stroo: “I’m very excited that Hennes and Kaan have decided to join forces with SEG. As ambitious, young, but already experienced agents they fit perfectly within our network and long-term strategy.”

Hennes Heijmans: “Working with SEG is really fulfilling a dream for me. With the resources and global network that SEG brings, we’ll be able to provide innovative and personalised services to top tier content creators in the gaming industry. I have lots of ideas on how to do things a little better, so I’m really excited to start working on those.”

Kaan Kılıç: “It is an exciting opportunity for me to join SEG, a leading name in esports. My current clients will greatly benefit from SEG's worldwide network. My focus will be on two key areas: scouting and developing new talent across the EMEA region and working with experienced, veteran players to expand their long-term career opportunities.”
