WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As Legal Counsel, you will act as an internal legal advisor to the organisation. You will support teams and agents on a broad range of legal matters and contribute to the careful management of legal risks relating to our athletes, artists and commercial partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts (including employment, sponsorship, licensing and cooperation agreements);

• Providing legal advice across multiple practice areas, including contract law, IP law and regulations of governing bodies;

• Advising on image rights, endorsement structures and commercial exploitation of IP;

• Providing legal support for international deals and projects;

• Identifying and managing legal risks;

• Liaising with external lawyers and legal advisors;

• Contributing to the further development and professionalisation of internal processes;

• Monitoring legal developments within sports, media and entertainment law; and

• Performing standard administrative tasks, including documentation management, filing, record keeping and internal coordination.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• A completed Master’s degree in law;

• Experience in IP law is a strong plus;

• At least two years of relevant professional legal experience;

• Experience within the sports and entertainment industry is a strong plus (specifically esports and/or music industry);

• Based in/or near either Amsterdam or London;

• Excellent proficiency in English, written and spoken;

• You work accurately and independently, communicate clearly, and are able to translate complex legal matters into practical advice;

• You have a proactive, hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility;

• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment where availability and flexibility are required; and

• You combine legal precision with commercial awareness.
