SEG Racing Academy is back! The development branch of SEG Cycling that celebrated great successes from 2015 to 2021 has returned in a new format. The focus is on supporting U17 and U19 top talent and sharing knowledge.
SEG Racing Academy’s goal is to move the cycling sport forward by nurturing young riders and help them maximise their talent. We offer training and guidance on all aspects of their development: physical, technical, mental, nutritional and personal. If you have the talent, SEG Racing Academy will help you perfect it.

Changing the landscape of talent development
Back in 2015, SEG Cycling was the first to start an independent development team. In seven years, SEG Racing Academy achieved remarkable success. 36 riders made the leap to the pro ranks. Exceptional riders such as Jordi Meeus, Fabio Jakobsen, Cees Bol, Stevie Williams, Thymen Arensman, Kaden Groves, Edoardo Affini and Daan Hoole started their careers at SEG Racing Academy. Now, they race — and win! — stages in Grand Tours as well as Monuments and other classics.

These clubs are a perfect breeding ground for cycling talent and a springboard to a professional career.
Education off the bike
We will equip you with practical knowledge. Our regular webinars feature experts and seasoned riders who cover various aspects of cycling. Topics include training strategies, bike setup, nutrition, mental coaching, as well as insights from Racing Academy alumni who share their experiences from the pro peloton.
SEG Scholarship
SEG Racing Academy will invite top talents (m/f) from around the world and across various cycling disciplines to join an exclusive scholarship programme. Together with you, we will determine where you need support. This could include advice from Racing Academy alumni and other experts, physical and mental assessments, performance support and data analysis. We’ll also work together to make a strategic plan for the next step in your career, explore all the options and help you with your contract.
