SEG has opened a new and unique service facility at its headquarters in Amsterdam: SEG CyclingLab. Cyclists can visit SEG CyclingLab to push their limits in cycling, improve their bike position or develop a personalised training plan. These services are available not only to SEG Cycling clients, but to all professional and recreational cyclists.
SEG CyclingLab comprises a team of movement scientists, physiotherapists and a sports dietitian. They will help you achieve your cycling goals. The practice space is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for bike fittings, fitness testing, performance testing, aero testing, stress testing, dietary coaching, training guidance, talent development and personal coaching. For aerodynamic testing, we use the indoor cycling track in Amsterdam or Alkmaar.
Riders who are looking for an expert second opinion in case of an injury, can rely on our team of physiotherapists led by renowned physiotherapist and physical coach Arno Philips. Of course, everything we do at SEG CyclingLab is done in close consultation with the rider’s team and medical staff.
SEG CyclingLab is a great solution for (pro) riders who don’t have access to all these services through their own team, or for those whose teams are based outside the Netherlands. In the latter case, a visit to SEG CyclingLab saves them a trip abroad.
SEG Cycling director Eelco Berkhout said: "With the launch of Performance Lab and CyclingLab, we can support our cycling clients even better. Our collaboration with SEG Racing Academy also gets an extra boost, allowing us to guide and support talents even more effectively in their development. We do this in cooperation with professional teams, federations and other partners who share our passion for cycling and aim to elevate the sport to new heights. In addition, we are now even more committed to grassroots cycling. The services offered by CyclingLab are also available to amateur riders. This way, we contribute to the broader development of the sport and make cycling more accessible to everyone who shares our enthusiasm.”
