NEWS HIGHLIGHTS FROM SEG ARTISTS

So much is happening in SEG’s artists division right now! Here’s a quick recap of some unforgettable moments from the past few weeks.

Rotjoch meets the royal couple

Who would have thought that Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander might ever dive into a music studio with well-known names from the Dutch rap scene such as Rotjoch and Frenna? That’s exactly what happened a few weeks ago in Atlanta, Georgia.

The trip was organised to celebrate the trade relations between the Netherlands and the United States and the importance of music. Willem-Alexander and Máxima met with Rotjoch and Frenna in the Patchwerk Studio where big names like 2Pac, Madonna and Beyoncé have recorded music. The king and queen themselves got behind the mixing console and had many questions for the rappers.

It wasn’t the first time that Rotjoch was noticed by the royal family. In 2018, he was knighted in the Order of Orange-Nassau. He earned this honour thanks to his achievements with 101Barz.
