JILL ROORD TAKES HER OWN ROAD

Jill is the first guest in Her Drive, a new video series from Porsche Nederland in which host Lexie Stevens chats with four of the country's top sportswomen. Also joining her are sprinter Demi van den Wildenberg, former handball player Lois Abbingh and long-track speed skater Antoinette Rijpma-de Jong.

Don't expect an overview of medals, goals and records. Her Drive is more interested in what happens away from the podium: the setbacks, the doubts and the drive to keep looking ahead. Jill, for one, talks about her decision to return to FC Twente after years at top international clubs, once she realised that success abroad was no longer making her happy.

Her Drive is available now on Discovered, Porsche Nederland's online platform.
