Jörg Werner represents SEG Cycling in Germany

SEG Cycling’s ever-expanding network has reached a new milestone. This week, the SEG cycling division started a collaboration with experienced rider agent Jörg Werner. He will be SEG Cycling’s main representative in Germany.

The fresh cooperation aims to strengthen SEG Cycling’s presence in the German market. Jörg and SEG Cycling will share their network and knowledge. Jörg will focus on the next generation of German talents as well as position SEG within professional men's and women's road racing and MTB.

Jörg has had a long relationship with cycling. In addition to his work as an agent for some of the biggest names in German cycling, the 52-year-old expert has served as team manager for Thüringer Energie Team and Rad-Net Oßwald, both UCI Continental outfits.

Jörg has worked with top talents such as Marcel Kittel, Tony Martin, John Degenkolb and many more. He currently represents BORA-hansgrohe rider Maximilian Schachmann among others.

SEG Cycling director Eelco Berkhout: “Jörg is a well-respected agent in pro-cycling. He has a lot of experience as an agent, working with young talents and top riders. I have known him for some years and I’m happy that we finally join forces to achieve great things together.”

Jörg Werner: “SEG and I share the same views on the guidance and development of riders. SEG’s scale and network will help us further unlock the German market. This collaboration is also beneficial for a rider like Maximilian Schachmann; it will make it easier for him to explore the international market. Other projects in cycling, such as organising events and running a team, I will continue to do. I very much look forward to any new projects I can develop together with SEG.”
