Delany makes her acting debut in Sugar

For the film, Delany also wrote her new single Meisjes Spelen Niet Buiten (Girls Don't Play Outside), bringing music and film together in a beautiful way. The track was released around the film's premiere and forms a personal translation of her character's story.

The role was also a whole new creative challenge for Delany. She stepped into Chyna's shoes, taking on the complex and gripping themes that Sugar is all about. It was an intense process: one where she kept getting to know her character better and immersed herself completely in her story. 

And it doesn't stop there: her new album follows later this year, and in November her first solo tour kicks off. A wonderful new phase for Delany whose star is rising fast, on stage and on the big screen.
