STEFANOS TZIMAS MOVES UP TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE

The Greece under-21 international is widely regarded as one of the most promising forwards of his generation and has been attracting significant interest from clubs across Europe.

Stefanos, who turned 19 last month, comes from Bundesliga 2 side FC Nürnberg, where he flourished and scored ten goals in seventeen league matches so far this season. He joined Nürnberg from PAOK Saloniki last summer on loan, in a move that included an option to buy. Nürnberg activated that option recently, ahead of Stefanos’ move to Albion. Stefanos will remain on loan with FC Nürnberg for the second half of this season before joining his new teammates in Brighton next summer.

Tassos Papadopoulos and Carl Thomas were among the SEG agents involved in the transfer. Tassos Papadopoulos said: “Stefanos is an exceptional talent from a wonderful family. Carl Thomas said: “When Brighton emerged as the best option for Stefanos, we met with PAOK and Nürnberg to discuss the terms. Overall, it was a great collaboration between the three clubs, the player and SEG to bring this transfer over the line.”
