In elite football, opportunities can come and go within hours. In Amir Murillo’s case, an unexpected phone call quickly became a decisive operation, perfectly executed.
With only 24 hours to go before the European transfer window closed, one phone call changed everything. Olympique Marseille informed the Spain SEG team that Amir was no longer needed at the club.
“That was a development we hadn’t anticipated, and we had to get to work immediately. We had less than 24 hours to find the best possible club for Amir,” said his agents, Rubén Gómez and Dani Contreras. “Thanks to SEG’s extensive network of contacts, we were able to quickly select a number of clubs where he would be a strong fit.”

After extensive meetings and calls between the clubs, the transfer was successfully completed, generating significant attention in Amir’s home country Panama and a warm welcome in Turkey, where he has quickly become a fan favourite among the Black Eagles. Just 24 hours after landing, he made his debut and two matches later, he scored his first goal in his new shirt.
