SEG Esports will be doubling their staff with the onboarding of six new agents

With the addition of 6 new agents, SEG will not only be doubling the agent team headcount but will also enter a new esport field: CounterStrike, the oldest still massively popular esport worldwide. The new agents are located in Europe, South Korea, and Brazil. The latter two have always been regions in which esports is strongly represented, with South Korea being the ‘motherland’ of esports and Brazil having a history of highly successful teams and players, specifically in CounterStrike.

Lifelong learning being at the core of SEG’s values, SEG Esports has been investing heavily in the recruitment of Esports agents to further grow the division. As a part of the SEG Academy, the selected agents all followed customized courses and a weekly training program developed specifically for them.

“At SEG, we are always ambitiously looking to grow and improve our services, to create and maximise opportunities and careers. Entering CounterStrike, the oldest still massively popular esport worldwide, has been a long time coming and with this addition, we will be active in the top 5 esport games in the world. We are happy that the expansion allows us to improve our services in South America and Asia and we are looking forward to working together with our new team of agents”, commented Rowan Stroo, Division Director Esports at SEG.
