Lipton launched campaign with Robin van Persie and his son Shaqueel

During the UEFA European Championship of 2020, Lipton launched a campaign together with Robin van Persie and his son Shaqueel van Persie.

Six years after his memorable goal during the FIFA World Cup 2014 against Spain, his son Shaqueel is following his father's football steps with an imitation of the goal in Lipton’s new TV commercial. To allow the rest of the Netherlands to relive this iconic dive, Lipton is releasing the Heroes Shirt, exclusively available at Albert Heijn.

Shaqueel van Persie: “I thought: what my father can do, I can do as well. We created the imitation with a wink, of course, but I still thought it was an honor to relive this moment with my father. Every footballer is dreaming of such an epic goal, so for sure would like to be a part of this campaign.

The orange Lipton Heroes Shirt, with a red, white and blue cape, symbolizes the dive Van Persie made six years ago. In this way we hope to let the Netherlands experience that euphoric feeling again!
