Put a hundred creative souls from the music industry in one room, and magic happens. Everyone present at the SEG Artists x ADE dinner last October experienced it. Thoughts and ideas were exchanged, artistic growth was fostered and the vibrant multinational creative community was celebrated.
For the second edition of this special dinner, SEG Artists was proud to partner up again with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest and most influential club-based festival and conference for electronic music. Featuring over 1,000 events in almost 200 venues, ADE attracted a record number of 500,000 visitors this year.
Hosted by SEG Artists director Koos Groenendijk, the event brought together creative professionals from across the entertainment industry to improve collaboration and exchange ideas. Special honorary guest was music executive Grace Ladoja MBE. A born and raised Londoner of Nigerian descent, Ladoja is an inspiring force empowering a new generation of creatives. One of her many initiatives is the founding of the annual Homecoming Festival in Lagos. This three-day festival and cultural exchange brings young African creatives and creativity back to Africa.
The evening was filled with inspiring conversations, a warm atmosphere and a shared passion for music. It was an event that left everyone energised, with new perspectives and fresh ideas to bring into their work.
