It is no secret Daley Blind has always called Ajax his home. In 2014, his talent and ambitions took him to other places, most notably joining Manchester United and playing in Old Trafford. However, the time has arrived to come back home: Blind is returning to Ajax.

The Dutch international signed a four-year contract with the Amsterdam-based club. He is now more mature as a player and person and will bring that experience to Ajax’s dressing room and to the pitch, where he is expected to assume a leadership role.

At Man Utd, Blind won four trophies, including the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League. In the final, United beat Ajax 2-0, with Blind playing the full match.
